This is a tribute site to Squadron Leader Norman Rose, who had an astonishing career with the Royal Air Force and was its longest serving pilot. He served in World War Two, was frequently commended for valour and professionalism, and was much loved by his family, his fellow pilots, and the air cadets he worked with at RAF Woodvale in the 1980s. This site recalls Norman's service to his country, his devoted family, and the young boys and girls whose lives he improved immeasurably, through his leadership and example. He is deeply missed by all who loved and knew him.
